Oats as breakfast
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it BREAKS the FAST from the last time you ate the night before. You really need more protein for breakfast than what oatmeal alone can give you. Quaker Oats (whole grain, quick 1 minute) have 150 calories, 3g fat, 27g carbs (including 4g fiber), 1g sugar and ONLY 5g PROTEIN. I don't know if you are trying to lose weight, lose fat, or what, but you need to consider getting a breakfast with more protein to get you off to a great start, rev-up your metabolism, sustain energy until lunch, and feed your brain and muscles! Consider a protein breakfast shake or boiled eggs & whole grain toast.
